Join Shayla Rucker, The Gaming Lady, and the Middle Tennessee Go Club for Japanese board games in the Japanese Game Zone. Fun for all ages!
The Gaming Lady and the Middle Tennessee Go Club are looking forward to introducing you to a wide selection of Japanese board games.
Look for them during the Festival in the center of the Square.
You can play Go with the Middle Tennessee Go Club all day.
These Japanese board games are available with Shayla Rucker on request from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Bonsai - Take on the role of expert bonsai masters and compete to grow the best bonsai for the Imperial gardens.
Broken and Beautiful: A Game About Kintsugi - Draft pottery, and manage its breakage and repair, to create the most beautiful set.
Bushido - A game of dueling martial artists, testing their weapons and training against one another to prove whose techniques are superior.
DragonIsles - Take on the role of daring adventurers, exploring the isles of a mystical fantasy world inspired by Japanese culture and folklore, to collect treasures and overcome thrilling challenges.
Fireworks - A group of cats has been training very hard to master their profession – shooting the best fireworks in the world. The day has come for the rookie to become the master.
Haiku Warrior - A tabletop RPG Adventure told entirely through haiku! Fight monsters, find hats, and forage for food, all while taking in the nuance and cunning of haiku.
Kabuki Tricks - Become producers of Kabuki performances in which the quality of showmanship depends on the number of tricks to be won.
Kingyo - Catch as many Kingyo (goldfish) as possible by matching the colors of the dice to them.
Koinobori - Explore the beauty and tradition of colorful Japanese kites by joining the colorful Koinobori festival with your own designed koinobori mast.
Matcha - Players attempt to collect the utensils (chadogu) they need to perform a tea ceremony by matching tea ceremony (otemae) cards on the table by either their number or suit.
Ohanami - Create the best Zen garden by harmonising water, vegetation, stones, and sakura trees.
Oishii: Food Stall Clash - Run your own Japanese food stall and create tasty menu sets by pairing up the right food types, allowing you to serve big orders and earn more money.
Sakura Heroes - Collect sakura flowers and lucky charms to complete the challenges on your way to the top of the magic mountain to be crowned the heroic victor!
The Legend of the Cherry Tree that Blossoms Every Ten Years - Rush to collect the flowers as they fall from the cherry tree. The one who can gather the most flowers will have their wish granted by it. But if you are too greedy, the cherry tree will find you unworthy of its gift.
